Bad experience. First time trying this spot. I confirmed an appointment. Upon arrival, the lady told me I'd need to wait 1.5 hours in the waiting room. With a smile, she was kind. She apologized. I said, "But I confirmed the appointment twice by phone." She said, "Sorry again and smiled." I asked to speak to the person who answered the phone. She said that person is not here and lives out of town. I left very disappointed! I thought it was important to share.

Angel 38 Spa is centrally located in Manhattan. It is convenient to Penn Station, Grand Central Station, and Times Square. I have visited several times. It is a good place to de-stress and unwind in mid-town. The spa is located on the fourth floor and is relatively small and private. I have always made appointments for massage by phone so I am not sure how walk-ins are handled. The rooms are spacious, clean, and private. When I have visited I have only seen my masseuse and on occasion the receptionist or manager. I have sometimes heard other people but I have not seen them. My masseuses have been welcoming, professional, and pay particular attention to the issues that I bring up. It has always been a relaxing experience and well worth the price. I will definitely go back in the future.
